Seth Ryan Winery vineyards and vineyard property are located on Red Mountain, the new Appellation within the Yakima Valley.

We have seven acres currently producing, are planting five additional acres, and have another 30 acres yet to develop. We use only certified #1 grapes from quality nurseries. The vineyard is well managed, free of weeds, and undesirable pests. We use neutron probes for deficit watering and follow an aggressive schedule of pesticide sprays to maintain pest-free vineyards.

At this time we see only positive characteristics coming from our vineyards. Our wines and the other wines made from our grapes have great flavors, complexities, and are faring well in competitions.  The grapes that have traditionally done well here are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Syrah.  Recently we have planted some of the Rhone varieties that will be bearing fruit next year.

We have sold all our grapes except for a small quantity of Viognier planted in 2004 and 2005.

We are interested in working with wineries to establish a purchase contract for varietals of your choice.  We value a solid relationship with other wineries that want controlled yields of quality grapes from this region.
