One of the principal five noble red grapes of Bordeaux, traditionally used in blending, Cabernet Franc has become an outstanding Washington varietal.  Our Cabernet Franc was aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.

 Lighter in character than Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this "drink now" varietal has a rich plum and cherry aroma with fruit flavors that caress the palette with a smooth, velvety texture.

 Our Cabernet Franc is perfect with Italian cuisine, especially high acid red sauces.  It is also great with creamy rich white sauces such as Alfredo.
