Seth Ryan Winery is a family business now owned and operated by  Jo Brodzinski and her son and daughter, Kirk and Belinda.  Ron Brodzinski (husband and father) was an integral part of the family and winery before he passed away suddenly in late October of 2006.  On  special-occasion weekends you will also meet Jo's son-in-law Troy, her delightful  granddaughter, Amber Star and the latest addition, grandson Spencer Ryan. Each of the owners has a special expertise they bring to the operation, and one of them is always on hand to share with you their style and methods of production.

The Seth Ryan KB Vineyards on Red Mountain, planted at the winery in 1997, include the noble varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay. The estate winery vineyards are managed by Kirk, our resident viticulturist.

A second planting of the Estate Vineyards was planted in 2004 and 2005, with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gewurztraminer, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Malbec, Viognier, Tempranillo, and Carmenère. The original grapes from the Jessica Vineyards of Khris Olsen’s were used in our Merlot from 1996 to 1998 and in the Meritage from 1996 until 2002.

The tasting room, opened in early 1992, has personally selected wine related gifts and specialty foods. Complimentary tasting of most wines is provided, with a refundable fee for the reserve wines. Spirited discussions with the owners are welcomed. Case discounts are always available.
